Dr. Afroz earned her PhD from BITS Pilani (India). She has 11+ years of research & industry experience in electronics engineering & management from India & Canada. She is also a Post Graduate in Project Management from Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, Canada. Since 2011, she has served the following research labs & industries on leadership and technical roles – IIT Madras (India), IIT Hyderabad (India), BITS Pilani (India), Mosaic (Canada), Western University (Canada), SD International (Canada), Avaya (India), Anewa (India). She has wide experience leading teams across countries including Japan, Turkey, UAE, USA, Canada and India. Her areas of expertise include Neuromorphic Computing, System on Chip, Autonomous Vehicles, VLSI & Embedded Systems. She has experience working on 28nm. She has 2 patents (Published/In-progress) and a tape-out (In-progress).

Dr. Waseem received his PhD from IIIT Bangalore (India). He has 11+ years of research and industry experience in semiconductor domain. He has served the following research labs and industries on various roles – IIITB (India), UniMAP (Malaysia), IIITH (India), and Avaya (India). He has wide experience leading teams across countries including UK, UAE, USA, Malaysia and India. His areas of expertise include AI/ML Hardware, System on Chip design, FPGA. He has lead successful tape-outs – SkyWater 130nm (In-Fab), SCL 180nm (Fab-ready) and TSMC 65nm (In-PD). He has 3 patents (filed/In-progress ) and 5 FPGA proven IPs.
